The Lord's Taverners Victoria wish to express our sincere condolences to the Benaud Family on the passing of Richie Benaud and we would like to share the thoughts of our NSW counterparts.
The Lord’s Taverners NSW wish to express our deepest sympathies to Daphne Benaud and to all the Benaud family at this terribly sad time.
On behalf of the thousands of deaf, blind indigenous and intellectually challenged youngsters across Australia we would like to say an enormous ‘thank you Richie’ for your incredible efforts and for your support over many decades.
Behind the scenes and away from the cameras Richie did so much to support the Lord’s Taverners and many other organisations.
His presence, passion and delight in the game and the nurturing of young talent was outstanding and he will be sorely missed.
