The Lords Taverners Victoria were pleased to induct Davanell Whatmore, Melanie Jones and William Joseph Smyth OAM in to the Legends of Victorian Cricket.
Hosted by Chairman Gareth Andrews, Andrew said 'it was a fantastic evening that acknowledged legends of the game we all love. While we were their to acknowledge outstanding people in the game of cricket, it was also a night where people from all levels of cricket can network and socialise with a shared passion for the game.'
The evening saw people of all ages from all over Victorian attend the event held at Royal South Yarra Tennis Club and saw fantastic support for the Legends including the Essendon Maribrynong Park Ladies Cricket Club surprising Melanie Jones with their attendance and support of this prestigious award.
